1. POST: Junior Research Fellow /SRF (Funded by CSIR, Govt. of India) : 01 Nos.
PROJECT TITLE: Characterization of arsenate resistant of Pannonibacter nandii strain HT23(DSM 23407T) and development of a whole cell arsenate biosensor.
ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION: For Junior research fellowship, candidates with Master’s degree or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks in any branch of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry with CSIR-NET are eligible to apply. For senior research Fellowship Candidates having M.Sc. or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks & publication in the scientific Journal and should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc research experience;
FELLOWSHIP: For JRF the fellowship amount is Rs.16,000/- per month plus HRA and for SRF position the fellowship amount is 18,000/- per month plus HRA as admissible.
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 28 years for JRF and 32 years for SRF.

The positions are purely temporary and the candidates will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute. Only short listed candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
