Walk-in for JRF(Structural studies of novel antifreeze peptides) at Bose Institute, Kolkata

A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 14th February 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Department of Biophysics, at the Centenary Building of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme, VII-M, Kolkata-700 054 for one post of JRF in the CSIR sponsored project entitled, “STRUCTURAL STUDY OF de novo DESIGNED NOVEL ANTIFREEZE PEPTIDES FROM leucospordium antarcticum ANTIFREEZE PROTEIN-1(AFP-1)" under Dr. Anirban Bhunia, Deptt. of Biophysics. The project is tenable for three years.
Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: A good M. Sc. with NET-JRF/M. Pharm with GATE
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Knowledge of Computer techniques like Modeling, Molecular Dynamics (Desmond and AMBER) with knowledge of programming language like C++ is a prerequisite. Work experience on Linux platform.
FELLOWSHIP: 16000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA & Medical benefit.
AGE: 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Eligible and interested candidates are requested to appear in person directly in the interview with application addressed to the Officer on Special Duty, Bose Institute, Kolkata along with bio-data, attested copies of certificates, mark-sheets and testimonials.
The candidates should also bring the original mark-sheets, certificates etc. at the time of interview.
