(Walk-in-Interview)

"Walk-in-Interview" is to be held on Monday the 27th February, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at this Institute for engagement of Junior Research Fellow under the Department of Biotechnology sponsored projects entitled "Identification and charaterization of sequence based markers for genetic improvement of tea (GAP0149)" on purely temporary basis (co-terminus with the project) :

1.      POST: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

FELLOWSHIP:16, 000/-P.M. Consolidated plus HRA as admissible under Council rules.

POSITIONS: One position

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Genetics/ Biotechnology / Molecular Biology with 55% marks and CSIR-UGC-NET-Qualified.

DESIRABLE: R&D experience in Quantitative Genetics/ Genetics/ Molecular Genetics & Genomics.

AGE: 28 Years as on 27.02.2012.

DATE & TIME OF WALK-IN-INTERVIEW: Monday the 27th February, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.

VENUE: CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (H.P.).

AGE RELAXATION: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for aBC and widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried is allowed age concession up to the age of 35 years.(Up to 40 years for members of SC/STs)-No other women is entitled for such relaxation.

Eligible candidates may appear for "Walk-in-Interview" on the date, time and place mentioned above. Candidates appearing for "Walk-in-Interview" have to submit an application on the prescribed proforma available at the IHBT, website alongwith attested photocopies of testimonials at the time of interview. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the projects. Candidates must also bring with them original certificates at the time of the appearing for interview failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.

NOTE: Result awaited candidates are not eligible/or interview.
