Applications invited for the Position of JRF and Research Associate at ICGEB, New Delhi
Vacancies are available for the posts of JRF and Research Associate to work on the following DBT funded projects in the Malaria Group at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, New Delhi.
PROJECT 1: Signaling mechanisms involved in egress and erythrocyte invasion by Plasmodium falciparum merozoites.
PROJECT 2: Novel parasite proteins that play a role in red cell invasion by Plasmodium falciparum
Project 3: Identification of parasite protein complexes and analysis of their roles in
red cell invasion by Plasmodium falciparum
PROJECT 4: Proteases involved in maturation of malaria parasite in blood stage, and egress of merozoites from the erythrocyte
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
JRF POSITION: Post graduate in life science from a recognized university/institution with a good overall academic record. Experience in molecular biology, cell-culture techniques and protein purification techniques is preferred
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITION: Doctorate degree in life sciences. Experience in molecular biology, proteomics, cell biology, biochemistry, parasitolgy is preferred.
EMOLUMENTS:
JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW: Rs.16,000 p.m + 30% HRA
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE: Rs. 24,000 p.m + 30% HRA
