PROJECT TITLE: Generation Challenge Programme (GCP) Sponsored Project “Molecular breeding and selection strategies to combine and validate QTLs for improving WUE and heat tolerance of wheat in India”

EMOLUMENTS: (Fixed P.M.) : 16,000/- + 30% HRA
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL:
Master’s Degree in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Botany/Life sciences with specialization in plant breeding/biotechnology as a subject.
DESIRABLE:
Research experience in plant Molecular Biology and knowledge of Computer applications.
AGE: Maximum 35 years for SRF (Age relaxation of five Yrs for the candidates belonging to SC/ST and Woman and three Yrs. for OBC candidate.)
NATURE OF POST: purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis
DURATION: One year at a time or till termination of the project / scheme whichever is earlier.
DATE AND TIME OF INTERVIEW: 12-09-2011 at 10.00 AM
PLACE OF INTERVIEW: Chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi-12
There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of the project / scheme. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the post is co-terminus with respective project / scheme.
