Applications are invited for one SRF position* in Soil Science on consolidated fellowship @ Rs. 16,000/- p.m. as approved by the ICAR (NAIP) under the project entitled “UNDERSTANDING THE MECHANISM OF VARIATION IN STATUS OF A FEW NUTRITIONALLY IMPORTANT MICRONUTRIENTS IN SOME IMPORTANT FOOD CROPS AND THE MECHANISM OF MICRONUTRIENT ENRICHMENT IN PLANT PARTS”.
Applicants possessing M.Sc. degree in Soil Science with practical experience of working with radioisotopes and plant nutrition laboratories should apply on plain paper in prescribed format to the Head, Department of Soil Science.
The experience of data processing on Computer will be desirable.
Candidates fulfilling the qualification should submit their applications by December, 24, 2011 and appear for interview on 26-12-2011 at 11:00A.M. in the Committee Room of Soil Science. No separate interview letters will be issued and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
The post is tenable for the remaining project period i.e. 31.3.2012 however; the project is likely to be extended beyond 31.3.2012 subject to the approval of NAIP. The appointment shall be given on six monthly review basis.
