Signal Transduction or Molecular and Cellular Biology

Post-doctoral positions are available for candidates with interests in signal transduction and/or molecular and cellular biology in a NCI intramural research laboratory that focuses on: 1) mechanisms of TGF-beta signal transduction, 2) Physiological and oncogenic function of Smurf ubiquitin E3 ligases. Approaches include both biochemical and cell-based assays on cell culture and in vivo mouse models.
The position is located in the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology, CCR/NCI/NIH.

REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and less than 1 year previous postdoctoral experience. Candidate must have an excellent understanding and extensive hands-on experience in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology. Prior experience in protein biochemistry and signal transduction is required. Previous experience with mouse models is a plus. Candidate must have excellent verbal, written, communication, and organizational skills.
