Applications are invited for the following temporary position(s) in a Major Research Project entitled
‘Programme Support on Identification, Isolation and Characterization of Stress Tolerance Genes and Proteins from Halophytes through Genomics and Proteomics Approaches’ funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi.
This project has to be operated along with M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Chennai.

2. QUALIFICATION:
Research Associate
Ph.D. Biotechnology/Marine Biology/Coastal Aquaculture/Life Sciences
Senior Research Fellow
M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Marine Biology/Coastal Aquaculture/Life Sciences with first class with 2 years research experience/M.Phil. degree with valid publication
Technical assistant
Master degree in any of the Life Science discipline
3. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Research experience in the field of plant proteomics will be an added qualification.
4. FELLOWSHIP: Rs 22,000 + 750 (HRA) per month, Rs 18,000 + 750 (HRA) per month, Rs 10,000 + 500 (HRA) per month for RA, SRF and technical assistant respectively.
5. DURATION OF THE PROJECT: 2 years
Candidates should bring their bio-data and certificates to prove qualifications, age, experience, etc. along with originals to attend the interview at the above mentioned address on 30 November 2011. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
