WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
WALK-IN-INTERVIEW is arranged for selecting suitable candidates for the following posts under different projects at Department of Agricultural Meteorology, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand Gujarat. The posts are temporary and may continue or terminated any time as per discretion of the funding agency.
1. NAME OF THE PROJECT: AICRP-NICRA “National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture”
NAME OF THE POST: SRF at KVK Dethali

PAY (RS.): Rs. 16000/- + HRA
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: M.Sc.(Agri.) in Agromet/Agronomy/ Horticulture/Statistics/Soil Sci./ Extension/ Economics
Desirable: Knowledge of computer and Gujarati language.
2. NAME OF THE PROJECT: SAC-AAU Collaborative project on “Modelling for estimation of Incident Photosynthetically Active Radiation (IPAR) using INSAT 3D data”

PAY (RS.): Rs.14000/- + HRA
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: M.Sc./ M Tech in Maths/Applied Maths/ Physics/Scientific computations
Desirable: Knowledge of computer prog.C++, Visual basic, and MATLAB
3. NAME OF THE PROJECT: IIT funded “Application of extended range forecast for climate risk management in rainfed/irrigated system in Anand and Kheda districts of middle Gujarat”

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: M.Sc.in Agricultural Meteorology/ Meteorology
Desirable: (i) Knowledge of DSSAT simulation modeling.
4. NAME OF THE PROJECT: Plan scheme “Centre for weather forecasting and climate change”

PAY (RS.): Rs.23000/- for M.Sc. & Rs. 24000/- for Ph. D. + HRA
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: M.Sc./Ph. D. in Agricultural Meteorology/ Meteorology/Atmospheric science
Desirable: Knowledge of climatic analysis/modelling
