Call for Applications for a Project Fellow in a Ministry of Tribal Affairs

Research Project

Applications on plain paper are invited for one position of Project Fellow with a salary of Rs. 6,000/- per month (consolidated) in a Ministry of Tribal Affairs research project entitled “Nutrition and Health of the Cheros of Jharkhand: A Bio-social Investigation”. Applications, along with bio-data and attested copies of certificates and work experience, etc., should reach the undersigned latest by 12th November, 2011.

The interview will be held on 16.11.2011 at 12.30 a.m. in the office of the Chairperson, Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

No separate Interview Letters will be issued.

No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS:

- A second class Master’s Degree in Anthropology, with a minimum of 55% marks.

- The candidate should be below the age of 40 years

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate should have knowledge in the related field and should be willing to conduct independent field-work and data collection in the field of Bio-Social Anthropology. The candidate should be prepared to remain in the field area for extended periods.
