Dr. Jagdish Chandra Bose Hindi Granth Lekhan Puraskar Yojna
Department of Biotechnology invites published books written originally in Hindi on the subjects related to Biotechnology for its scheme Dr. Jagdish Chandra Bose Hindi Granth Lekhan Puraskar Yojna-2010 in the prescribed proforma from the citizens of India only. Under this scheme, the cash prizes of Rs. 1,00,000/- for First Prize (one), Rs. 50,000/- for Second Prize (one), Rs. 25,000/- for Third Prize (one) and Rs. 10,000/- each for Consolation Prizes (two) will be given.
The books which have been published within three preceding years of the year of award (including the year of award) will only be considered under the scheme “Dr. Jagdish Chandra Bose Hindi Granth Lekhan Puraskar Yojna-2010”. The books which have been awarded on earlier occasions by any Department of the Ministry of Science & Technology or the books reviewed earlier for the same scheme or the books once awarded a prize under any other scheme run by the Government of India or State Govenments or administration of any Union Territory shall not be eligible for entry under this scheme. Any author may submit only one entry for a specific year.
The details of the scheme and the application form may be downloaded from the websites of the department http://www.dbtindia.gov.in or http://www.dbtindia.nic.in. Duly filled in application forms alongwith 5 (five) copies of the books should reach the following address by 30 November, 2011. Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
