POST: Staff Scientist-II for operating the Flow Cytometer Sorter
NATURE OF POST: Temporary in Project mode
DURATION: Tenable till March 2014
JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance, supervision and operation of Flow cytometer machines used for detecting low level Fluorescent labeling of particles , computerized data processing for wide variety of applications , analysis of data using appropriate software, installing and operating dedicated acquisition/analytical softwarers , help in planning and execution of experiments using flow cytometry and training new users.
Candidates should possess R& D experience in Biomedical imaging, instrumentation operation and maintenance , experimental design and execution. Experience in Flow cytometry would be preferred.
QUALIFICATION AND PAY STRUCTURE:
STAFF SCIENTIST: PAY STRUCTURE: Rs 15600-39000 with grade pay of Rs 5400
Benefits include Medical reimbursement for self only.
QUALIFICATION: First Class M. Tech/M.Sc with 3 years relevant experience or M.S./Ph.D
