{For engagement of Project Assistants under sponsored project (s)}

Applications are invited on plain paper in the prescribed form (Annexure-II) which is also displayed on NEERI’s website for engagement as Project Assistant-I/II/III/IV on behalf of the sponsor as per following details:

1 PROJECT TITLE(NAME & ADDRESS OF THE SPONSOR): “Study of risk assessment of endosulfan in human

using In Vitro cell models”

2. PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION(S): M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology with

minimum 55%)

3. EXPERIENCE: Minimum six month research experience

4. AGE LIMIT: Not to exceed 28 Years as on 15/11/2011

5. JOB REQUIREMENT: Experience in tissue culture and molecular biology techniques

6. CONSOLIDATED FIXED REMUNERATION (P.M.): Rs. 12,000/- Per Month

7. NO. OF POSITION(S)(THE NUMBER OF POSITION MAY VARY AT THE TIME OF ENGAGEMENT): One

The engagement is purely on a temporary basis and contract basis under the externally funded sponsored project undertaken by NEERI which may be extended or curtailed depending on the status/duration of the sponsored project, satisfactory performance/conduct of the Project Assistants. It is a placement under the sponsored project and will be co-terminus with the project duration under any case. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption against any post NEERI/CSIR or under any other scheme of CSIR.

Applicants are to appear for a personal interview before the Selection Committee on 15th November, 2011 at 11.00 am. at Room No. 03, Conference Room of Environmental Health Division /Zonal Centre. No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. No Separate interview call letter will be issued. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed.
