NOTIFICATION

{For engagement of Project Assistants under sponsored project(s)}

Applications are invited on plain paper in the prescribed form (Annexure-II) which is also displayed on NEERI’s website for engagement as Project Assistant–II on behalf of the sponsor as per the following details :-

1.         POST: Project Assistant

PROJECT TITLE (NO): “Studies on Processing and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste in Hilly Areas”. Project No. (C-7-1764)

PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:  M. Tech (Environmental Engineering) with minimum 55% marks for General Category and 50 % for SC/ST Category

JOB REQUIREMENT: Sampling, analysis, modeling and report preparation etc)

FIXED REMUNERATION: Rs. 14,000/‐

NO. OF POSITIONS: 1(the number of position may vary at the time of engagement)

UPPER AGE LIMIT:  28 years (relaxation for SC/st/OBC candidates as per Govt of India orders

The engagement is purely on a temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the  duration of the sponsored project, work quantum, satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be co-terminus with the project duration. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption.

Applicants are to appear for a personal interview before the Selection Committee on 25.10.2011 at 11:00 a.m. at NEERI, Kolkata Zonal Laboratory, I-8, Sector C, EKDP, E M Bypass, Kolkata 700107.

No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. No Separate interview call letter will be issued. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed. No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
