Objective of the workshop

Statistical data analysis.is essential today for all professionals, particularly for researchers, engineers, managers and analysts who face a dynamic and competitive world. The availability of various multivariate techniques and user-friendly statistical software has resulted in improved ability to analyze large amounts of data. The objective of this workshop is to introduce widespread tools and techniques for data analysis and to foster multi-disciplinary research in these areas.

Target Audience

The workshop is aimed at faculty and researchers engaged in varied fields of management and engineering.

Areas/Topics to be covered

Introduction to Statistics, correlation, Regression, Multiple regression, Design of Experiments, Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Discriminant Analysis, Conjoint Analysis and Statistical Business Process Simulation.

Workshop Registration

Registration fee:

1. Faculty Members: Rs.5000/-
2. Research Scholars: Rs.4000/-

The registration fee includes boarding, loadging, course material and refreshments on workshop days. Expenses like travel will have to be borne by the participants or their institutions/organizations.

Note:

For participants availing VFAST Hostel accomodation, the extra charges are to be paid at the time of reporting to VFAST Hostel.
