PROJECT TITLE: Project on “Real Time Insect Pest Surveillance (RTPS) in tomato crop”
DURATION: for a period of 10 months (till 31st March 2012).
1. NAME OF THE POST: Data Entry Operator
NO. OF POSITION:1
QUALIFICATION: Essential: Graduate with at least one year certificate in Computer Application/IT from Government recognized institution.
Desirable: Speed and accuracy of data entry and verification. Preference will be given to the candidates with relevant experience of typing work and having proficiency in computer application.
AGE: Upper age limit 30 years.
REMUNERATION PER MONTH: Rs. 8000/-(Fixed)
2. NAME OF THE POST: Pest Scout/ Data Collection Assistant (Skilled)
NO. OF POSITION: 02 (Two)
QUALIFICATION: Essential: Graduate in Horticulture/ Agriculture/Zoology/Botany.
Desirable: Candidates should have knowledge of identifying insect pests and disease of vegetable crops. Preference will be given to the candidates with field work experience in the relevant area.
AGE: Upper age limit 30 years.
REMUNERATION PER MONTH: Rs. 8000/- (Fixed)
VENUE: Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Jakhini (Shahanshapur), Varanasi
DATE OF INTERVIEW: 26.09.2011
NOTE:
•Nature of work: Daily visit to farmers fields in villages near by Varanasi and IIVR for collection of data on insect pests and diseases of tomato and other vegetable crops.
•The candidates preferably should have driving license of two wheeler to visit farmers field daily.
•The upper age limit is 30 years.
•Candidates with experience in the relevant area will be preferred.
•No TA/DA will be paid, if called for interview.
•Candidates should bring their original marks sheets/certificates for verification at the time of interview.
