PROJECT TITLE: “Genome wide association study of chronic pancreatitis”

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR : Prof DK Bhasin Department of Gastroenterology, PGIMER, Chandigarh
NATURE OF POST: Temporary, contractual basis
DURATION: 1 year The post is likely to continue up to 3 years or whenever the research project finishes, whichever is earlier.
QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. (Life Sciences) degree holders with two years research experience. Candidates with experience in DNA extraction and biostatistics will be preferred
EMOLUMENTS: Rs 18,000+ 20% HRA No other allowance is admissible
AGE LIMIT: Below 35 years as on date of interview
The candidates with under mentioned qualifications may apply on a plain paper along with the Biodata by 21 September 2011 till 5 PM. Candidate with experience in Biostatistics and DNA extraction will be preferred. The applications are to be submitted in the Gastroenterology Office II, F Block, Department of Gastroenterology with Ms. Kanchan.
Interview will be held on 22 September 2011.at 230 PM in the Office of Prof Kartar Singh, Head, Department of Gastroenterology, F Block, PGI, Chandigarh.
No TA/DA will be given for the interview and no separate call letter will be sent for the same. Candidates should bring all the original documents and certificates at the time of interview. The selected candidate has to join immediately.
