Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the post of “Senior Research Fellow” & “Junior Research Fellow” one post each on adhoc basis in the ICMR funded project entitled “- under & Principal

Investigator.

PROJECT TITLE: Finding Genes that predict Alcoholism risk in the Indian Population”

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr.Pratima Murthy, Professor of Psychiatry

1.    NAME OF THE POST - Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

NO. OF POST - One

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION - M.B.B.S

MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT - 30 Years (Age relaxation will be given for suitable candidates)

EMOLUMENTS - Rs.18,000/- + HRA 30% Rs.5,400/- per month

DURATION OF THE PROJECT - 3 Years

Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 months which will be extendable for every 6 months depending upon the performance of the candidate

2. NAME OF THE POST - Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

NO. OF POST - ONE

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION - M.Sc in Biological Sciences

JRF applicants who have passed the National Test conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICMR will be preferred

MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT - 30 Years(Age relaxation will be given for suitable candidates)

EMOLUMENTS - Rs.16,000/- + HRA 30% Rs.4,800/- per month

DURATION OF THE PROJECT - 3 Years

Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 months which will be extendable for every 6 months depending upon the performance of the candidate
