ELIGIBILITY:  MSc in biotechnology with a first class. Experience in yeast molecular biology and genetics is essential.

SALARY: Consolidated salary Rs.14000/- p.m. + HRA

JOB PROFILE: The candidate is expected to carry out experiments such as growth of S. cerevisiae, disruption of genes, FACs analysis, gene expression analysis, phenotypic analysis etc.

2.       Chemical Engineering

PROJECT CODE: P(07-2) Air Pollution Lidar (Indo-French Project)

POST: PDF:

NUMBER OF POST: 1 Post

 ELIGIBILITY: The candidate must have a PhD in physics, atmospheric science, environmental science/engineering, civil engineering. She/he will need experience in lidar remote sensing and aerosol science, and be proficient in programming and data analysis. Excellent communication skills are mandatory.

SALARY: Consolidated salary Rs.30000/- p.m.

JOB PROFILE: Air pollution LIDAR operation, data reduction techniques, field experiments. Factor analytic techniques, isolate factors/sources containing chemical, optical and lidar signal.

The positions are temporary initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
