PROJECT TITLE : Comparative genomics of economically important nematode pathogens leading to transgenic nematode resistance in wheat and sugarcane”.
SPONSORING AGENCY: DBT funded Indo Australia collaborative project
POSITION: Research Associate = One
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: M. Sc in/ Botany / Zoology / Nematology/ Plant Molecular Biology / Biotechnology with three years research experience or Ph.D in the above disciplines.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in plant tissue culture/ plant transformation
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics.
EMOLUMENTS: Rs 16,000 + 30% HRA
DURATION: 3 Years
AGE: Not more than 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST & women candidates)
DATE OF INTERVIEW: 26th Aug 2011 Reporting time for attending the interview is 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM.
VENUE: Division of Nematology, IARI, New Delhi.
Applications should be prepared in the format given at the IARI website along with original and attested copies of all certificates, degrees, publications/articles.
No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview
DURATION: 1 year or co-terminus with project which ever is less.
