The Principal Scientist & Consortia Co-Principal Investigator intends to recruit One
Senior Research Fellow purely on contractual basis. Details of the posifion are given
below:
POST: Senior Research Fellow

NAME OF THE PROJECT: Strategies to enhance adaptive capacity to climate change in vulnerable regions (World Bank -GEF)

NO. OF POST: 1

SPONSORING AGENCY:  NAIP Project

AGE LIMIT: Maximum age 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women,
and three years for OBC candidates).

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : M.F.Sc. / M.Sc. (ZoologylMarine biology / oceanography)

DESIRABLE: Experience in vessel based work, Field work, writing ability and computer
skills.

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 16,000/ - + 30% HRA as per rules

DATE AND TIME OF INTERVIEW: 06 September, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

VENUE OF INTERVIEW: Mumbai Research Centre of Central Marine Fisheries Research
Institute,2"d Floor CIFE Old Campus, Fisheries University Road, Seven Bungalows,
Versova, Andheri (West), Mumbai -400 061.

DURATION: Initially for a period of one year but may be extended on year to year basis based on performance of the candidate

Interested candidates satisfying the essential qualifications may come for the interview with a copy of the bio-data, original and attested copies of all certificates, recent copy of passport size photo graph, etc. for the post.

The above post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the posts are co-terminus with the respective projects.

No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.
