POST: Junior Research Fellow (JRF-1)
FUNDING AGENCY: National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
Essential qualifications: M.Sc. Life Sciences/Bio-Sciences/Biotechnology/Chemistry or equivalent with experience in plant tissue culture, molecular genetics and/or phyto-chemical analyses techniques. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified NET or other eligible examination for pre Ph.D. course.
Desirable qualifications: Experience in an area of medicinal and aromatic plants and willing to undertake extensive travel in Himalayan region and stay at Alpine Garden Tungnath and Pothibasa for project work.
Period of project: 2 years.
Emoluments: Rs 1200+HRA P.M. (fixed).
