Two post of Senior Research Fellow is to be filled up on a purely temporary basis, in a NIH funded research project on “Centre for the Study of Complex Malaria in India”.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences with two years research experience in the field of molecular biology specifically on next generation sequencing technology.

Desirable: knowledge of population genetics, statistics, and bioinformatics.

Age: Up to 35 years

Emoluments: Rs. 28400.00 + HRA

Age limit: Age relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per central Govt rules/orders for possessing experience in Govt./Autonomous Bodies. Candidates working in long term projects in ICMR and its Institutes/Centres shall be given one time age relaxation up to five years for the post advertised.

The following positions are to be filled up on purely temporary and contract basis for a period of one year in the project entitled   “Monitoring the Therapeutic Efficacy of Antimalarial Medicines in India” 

Post-1: Project Manager – (One) - On consolidated salary of Rs. 50,000/- p.m. including all allowances.

Qualification & Experience: MD or Ph.D in Life Science and Research Experience in Vector Borne Diseases especially malaria. Experience in handling of Projects related to Vector Borne Diseases/infectious disease with at least 2 years. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Job Requirement: To coordinate between field sites and Central Monitoring Unit and also monitor /supervise the activities of the Central Monitoring Unit, drafting reports and publications etc.    Age:- Below 65 Years

Post- 2: Administrative Manager – (One)- On consolidated salary of Rs.40,000/-p.m. including all allowances.

Qualification & Experience: Graduate in any discipline and have administrative and accounts experience for at least 3 years in the Central/State, Semi- Government/Autonomous Bodies.

Desirable:-Retired persons from Central/State, Semi- Government/ Autonomous Bodies/ at the level of Section Officer or above and having working experience with knowledge of computer applications and internet with age below 65 years.

 Job Requirement: He/She will be responsible for day to day administrative and accounts activities of the project.   Age:- Below 65 Years.

Post-3: Senior Research Fellow – (One)- On consolidated salary of Rs.36,400/-p.m.including HRA.

Qualification & Experience: Post Graduate Degree in basic Sciences with NET or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with two year experiences, Knowledge of Computer Applications.
