Position No. 1:
Scientist / Senior Scientist (Agronomy / Soil Science) in Pay Band-3

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Ph.D. submitted in the area of
Agronomy / Soil Science for Scientist OR Ph.D. in the area of Agronomy / Soil
Science with two years postdoctoral research experience in related area for
Senior Scientist.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Two years experience of working
in agronomy / Soil Science, preferably of medicinal, aromatic or other
industrial crop(s) as evident with research publications.
JOB REQUIREMENT: To work in the area of Agronomy
and Soil Science.

submitted in the area of Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology for Scientist
OR Ph.D. in the area of Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology with two years

DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION:
Two years of postdoctoral research experience in the area of Plant Biochemistry/Plant
Biotechnology as evident with publications in high impact journals and / or international
patents. Specialization in protein purification, gene cloning, development and
analysis of transgenics.

Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology.

Ph.D. submitted in the area of Crystallography for Scientist OR Ph.D in the
area of Crystallography with minimum two years postdoctoral research experience
in related area for Senior Scientist.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION: Minimum
two years postdoctoral experience in the area of Crystallography, preferably
experience in peptide synthesis and structural studies and Bioinformatics as
evident with publications in high impact journals and /or international
patent(s)

Bio-Crystallography of medicinal and aromatic plants.

in Agricultural Sciences with MBA (1st class) in Rural Management OR Ph.D.

years experience in relevant area OR Ph.D. in the area of Agricultural Sciences
with two years research experience in Agriculture extension related activities

Botany/Chemistry/Biochemistry for Scientist OR Ph.D. in the area of
Botany/Chemistry/Biochemistry with two years postdoctoral research experience
in related area for Senior Scientist.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATION:
One year experience in editing and printing of scientific documents / research journals
and popular journals, etc as evident with research publications and/or
past/current job profile.
JOB REQUIREMENT: To help in scientific
publications/documentation of CSIR-CIMAP.

Applications on prescribed form
duly completed in all respects alongwith a recent passport size photograph,
attested copies of certificates of educational qualification, experience
certificate, reprints of published papers, community certificate (in the case
