WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

EMOLUMENTS (FIXED P.M.) :16,000/ plus 30% HRA (For candidate NET/GATE qualified)

Or

12,000/- plus 30% HRA (for candidate without NET/GATE )

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL: Master’s Degree in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Biotechnology/ Life sciences with specialization in plant breeding/ biotechnology as a subject.

NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preferences.

DESIRABLE: Research experience in plant molecular biology/breeding and knowledge of computer applications.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Age limit: Not more than 35 years on the date of interview. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC candidates.

(i) The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project.

(ii) The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.

(iii) The interview of eligible candidates will begin at 9:30 A.M. on 27th July, 2012 in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.

(iv) The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data (Format given below), original certificates, and self attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation (10th standard) onwards, and copy of recent passport size photograph. The original or provisional certificate of award of M.Sc. degree is essentially to be brought while attending the interview. The candidate who has appeared for final semester of M.Sc. and result is awaited is not eligible to attend the interview.

(vii) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

(vi) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

 (viii) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.

(x) Candidate whose near/distant relative(s) is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, has to declare it and communicate this office as per format given below. Such declaration must reach the Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi-110012 by post or through e-mail: atalukdar@iari.res.in on or before 25rd July, 2012. If communicated or declared on the date of interview, candidate will not be interviewed. Candidates having no near/ distant relative(s) working at ICAR/ IARI will furnish a declaration (format given below) on the date of interview.
