 “Young Statisticians Meet- an International Conference” at University of Burdwan,WB, India

Burdwan University announces the “Young Statisticians Meet- an International Conference”, which will be held in Burdwan University, West Bengal, India on December 24-25, 2012. Scientists, professionals, students from different field in Theoretical and Applied Statistics (e.g. Biological Statistics, Financial Statistics, Survey Sampling, Industrial Statistics etc.) are invited to participate in the program. The Conference will be organized with invited session, contributory sessions and poster session. The “Young Business and Industrial Statisticians (y-BIS)”of “International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS)” are interested to organise a separate session from Industry.

  • Contents/abstracts of posters (4'X3') should be sent in soft copy to the convenor by e-mail at confbu@gmail.com. The deadline for submission of posters is July 31, 2012.

  • The best three posters will be receive cash awards. Decision on acceptance of papers and posters will be communicated by August 31, 2012
