Ph. D. in Food Technology with M.
Tech (Food Technology) from a recognized university/institute and eight years
of experience.
DESIRABLE:
Teaching/research and/or industry experience in Food Engineering/Product
Development/Food Processing/Preservation and Packaging.
ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR: 01 (ONE)
M. Tech (Food Technology) from a
recognized university/institute.
DESIRABLE:
Teaching/research and/or industry experience in fruit and vegetable
technology/confectionery/dairy technology and issues pertaining to food
quality, safety analysis and IPR.
Ph. D. in any of these
disciplines would be an added advantage.
C). DEPARTMENT OF BIOELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION
FACULTY OF
ENGINEERING & INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENCES
ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR: 01 (ONE)
M. Tech or M. Sc. With Ph. D. in
Electronics/Instrumentation.
Desirable: Candidates with Trans-disciplinary experience
in teaching/research in biological sciences, particularly in the area of signal
processing and biomedical instrumentation.
D). DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL RESEARCH
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
(PHARMACOLOGY) - 01 (ONE)
FACULTY OF ALLIED
HEALTH SCIENCES
QUALIFICATION: M.D. (Pharmacology) with MBBS
from a recognized Medical College.
EXPERIENCE:
At least two (02) years post MD teaching/research experience in the
relevant field in MCI recognized institute of repute.
Proof of research in
preclinical/clinical Pharmacology through international publications of high
impact.
E). DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY
FACULTY OF PHARMACY
ASSISTANT
PROFESSOR (PHARMACOLOGY) - 01 (ONE)
QUALIFICATION: Ph. D. in (Pharmacology) with
M. Pharma (Pharmacology) from a recognized university/institute.
EXPERIENCE:
At least two (02) years post doctoral/post graduate teaching/research
experience in the relevant field in a UGC recognized institute of repute.
Proof of Research in Pharmacology
through international publications of high impact.
Note: NET qualified candidates in
addition to the above qualification will be given preference.
Assistant
Professor - One (Biochemistry)
First class Master’s degree in
Biochemistry from a recognized university.
Ph. D. in Biochemistry obtained
from a university imparting Doctoral degree programme as per the UGC norms.
Besides fulfilling the above
qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test
(NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like
SLET/SET.
DESIRABLE: Candidates with postdoctoral
experience in any of the upcoming areas in Biochemistry and cell technologies
from a research institute/laboratory of international repute, evidenced by
publications in high impact factor (>6.0) as first author or author for
correspondence.
Application should accompany a
one page write up of the purposed plan of the applicant for the Department.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.
The university reserves the right not to fill-up the vacancy if the
circumstances so warrant and to call only short-listed candidates for test/
interview.
2. The university reserves the right to
consider the name(s) of suitable candidates who may not have applied and also
to relax the qualification and experience for deserving candidates, as approved
by the Selection Committee.
3. Candidates called for interview will have
to come to the place of interview at their own expenses and bring with them
their original research papers, degrees and certificate etc. for verification.
4. Applications complete in all respects
should reach to the Office of the Registrar, Establishment Section, Jamia
Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi – 110 062 latest by April 21, 2012 (Saturday)
alongwith the following:
· Bio-data (highlighting personal
details, academic records, teaching and research experience).
· Attested copies of certificates &
testimonials in support of qualification and experience.
· Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- for the posts
of Professor and University Librarian, Rs. 300/- for the post of Associate
Professor and Rs. 200/- for the post of Assistant Professor in favour of
Registrar, Jamia Hamdard payable at New Delhi.
· Duly typed Annexure- A available with
the application form.
· Duly filled in Academic Performance
Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) proforma as set
out in UGC Regulation 2010 Appendix III for the post of Professor and Associate
Professor.
5. Persons already in job must apply through

6. Incomplete applications and those
