TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. The appointment is co-terminus with the project. However in case the work and conduct is not found satisfactory, the service can be terminated at any time after giving due opportunity, of being heard to the concerned employees. If the selected candidate(s) wants to leave, he/she can do so after giving a thirty days notice in writing to the University.
2. The services of the employee will also be liable to terminated at any point of time, without assigning any reason because of non release of grant by funding agency.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview as per rules.
4. On expiry of the term of the project, He/She will be relieved and the university/department will not be responsible for his/ her adjustment in the university.
5. He/she will not be a regular employee of the university and would not be entitled to any CPF/GPF or any other benefit admissible to regular employees.

The contract wherever applicable can be renewed on year to year basis within the project duration, subject to a maximum period of 7 years accumulation in one/several project.
4. The Project Associate will be paid consolidated emoluments in any of the three slabs indicated above depending on the qualifications, experience, and suitability subject to the recommendations of the Selection Committee. Project Assistant will be paid emoluments indicated above. No allowances, perks are payable over and above the consolidated emoluments. The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is a premier national autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoE&F), Government of India in the field of teaching, training and research. The WII wishes to engage a Project Fellow (Indian national only) through a walk-in-interview on Monday, 9th January 2012. POST: Project Fellow
PROJECT TITLE:  Assessment of pollinators in different agro ecosystem and forest types around Dehradun.
DURATION: Three years.
 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
 Masters degree in Zoology/Life Science/Environmental Sciences/ Wildlife Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
 DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION
 Field experience and knowledge of insect collection, identification and preservation.
 DESCRIPTION OF WORK
 1. Conduct field survey to collect samples and field data from the study area.
2. Identify the collected samples with the help of relevant identification keys.
3. Visit to important Indian museums for identification and consultation.
 GENERALTERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The age of the candidate shall not be more than 28 years for the advertised position of a project fellow as on 31st December 2011.
2. Selected candidate will be paid consolidated emoluments of Rs. 8,000/- per month.
3. Selected candidate will be engaged initially for a period of one year. Subsequently his/her tenure will be extended up to two more years based on the satisfactory performance of assigned tasks.
4. Selected candidate may be allowed hostel accommodation at the institute, as per availability. Where the hostel accommodation is not possible, house rent allowance (HRA) will be paid as per the rules of the Institute. Other allowances and benefits to the research personnel would be admissible as per the rules of the Institute, amended from time to time.
