Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of two Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled 'Identification of novel drought tolerant gene(s) by comparative analysis between rice and Sorghum: Isolation and validation through bacterial and in planta expression.' funded by DST under the guidance of Dr Sudipta Ray(PI), Centre of Advanced Study, Department of Botany, CU
ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR JRF: MSc in any branch of life science (First Class or A+) with NET qualification / GATE qualified candidates may also apply
Emoluments: Rs. 16000 + adm. allowances for NET qualified candidates and Rs. 12000 + adm. allowances for NET (LS) /GATE qualified candidates as per DST norms.
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 28 years
Candidates are required to submit two sets of complete applications furnishing biodata on plain paper with attested copies of testimonials to Dr Sudipta Ray, Centre of Advanced Study, Department of Botany, 35 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata 700019 within 15 days.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
