1. Traineeship – 01 (one post) purely temporary for a period of six months.
Salary: Rs.5000/- p.m. fixed.
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Bioinformatics or any other branch of Life Sciences preferably with dissertation in Bioinformatics.
Desirable Qualification: Prior knowledge of programming languages such as C, VB, SQL etc. and software/database development.
2. Studentship- 01 (one post) purely temporary for a period of six months.
Salary: Rs.5000/- p.m. fixed.
Essential Qualifications: Final year Post Graduate students pursuing a degree in Bioinformatics or any branch of Life Science with knowledge of bioinformatics. Interested candidates are required to appear for the walk in interview on 28th August, 2012 at 10.00 AM in Principal’s Office, Gargi College, Sirifort Road, N.Delhi-110049, with their CVs, original documents and a set of Photostat copies of all original documents.

General Instructions & Application format for the candidates:
1. The closing date of application is 15.09.2012
2. The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case will be the closing date of receipt of application.
3. Prescribed application form can be downloaded from our website cpcri.gov.in or bioinfcpcri.org.
4. Applications should be submitted strictly as per attached proforma, neatly typewritten/computer types alongwith one passport sized photograph. A latest passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer may be affixed on the application.
5. Unemployed SC/ST candidates called for written test/interview for the post will be paid traveling expenses equivalent to second class railway fare as per GOI rules.
6. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC who fulfill required educational qualification/technical qualification can also apply against UR vacancies. They will however, have to compete with the UR candidates. No age relaxation will be allowed to such SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against UR vacancies.
7. Fee: Fee `.100/- (Non refundable) in the form of Demand Draft/IPO drawn in favour of ICAR Unit, CPCRI, Kasaragod may be enclosed alongwith application. No other means of payment will be accepted. No fee for SC/ST/PH/X-serviceman candidates.
