For engagement of Project staff
under sponsored project
Applicants are invited on plain
paper for engagement as Project Assistant (Level-I/II) on behalf of the sponsor
as per following details:-
1.
POST AND PROJECT TITLE:

POST 2: PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II
PROJECT – “Development of Baseline Data
with respect to Air, Water, and Soil Quality as well as Noise up to block level
across the state of Tripura.” ( CNP-2-1903)
3.
POST 3: Project
assistant Level II
Project –National ambient air
quality monitoring (G-1-1361)
2.
PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
FOR
POST NO. 1:
B.Sc. in any science
subject/Three years Diploma in Engg. or equivalent with 50% marks for General Category
& 45% marks for SC/ST Category. Throughout first class, Computer
proficiency and Technical skill will be preferred.
FOR
POST NO. 2:
M.Sc /B.E. /B.Tech or equivalent
in Computer Science/engineering with minimum 55% marks for General Category
& 50% marks for SC/ST Category. Throughout first class and proficiency in
technological skill will be preferred. Knowledge in software development, VB,
C++/VC++, designing and handling of DBMS.
FOR
POST NO. 3:
M.Sc (chemistry/environmental
science or equivalent) /BE/B.Tech (chemical or environmental engineering) or
equivalent with minimum 55% marks for General Category & 50% marks for
SC/ST Category. Throughout first class and proficiency in technological skill
will be preferred.
3. JOB REQUIREMENT
FOR
POST NO. 1
Environmental sampling at field
including remote area of North-east India, reagent preparation, handling of environmental
samplers, preparation of project report, data entry.
FOR
POST NO. 2
DBMS development and management,
data entry, data management, preparation of project report, environmental
sampling at field including remote area of North-east India, handling of
environmental samplers
FOR
POST NO. 3
Environmental sampling at field,
reagent preparation, handling of environmental samplers, analysis of different
parameters of air samples, data entry, data management, data analysis,
preparation of project report.
4.
FIXED REMUNERATION
PROJECT
ASSISTANT LEVEL I : Rs.
8,000/- per month
PROJECT
ASSISTANT LEVEL II
: Rs. 12,000/- per month
5. NO. OF POSITIONS 03 (Three)
6. AGE LIMIT PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL I : 25 years (Age relaxation as
per applicable rules)
PROJECT
ASSISTANT LEVEL II
: 28 years (Age relaxation as per applicable rules)
The engagement is purely on a
temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration
of the sponsored project, work quantum,
satisfactory performance/ conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be
co-terminus with the project duration.
The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or
otherwise. It would therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit
for consideration for regularization/absorption.

Kolkata- 700107. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
Candidates who do not fulfill the
prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed. No interim
inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
