Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate/Senior Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

QUALIFICATIONS -

RA:- Ph. D Biotechnology/Biophysics/Biochemistry or any other related field

SRF- M.Sc. with at least two years of research experience 

JRF- M Sc. Biotechnology/Biophysics/Biochemistry or any other related field

EMOLUMENTS:-

The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon the Qualification & Experience.

RA-Rs. 22,000/- per month consolidated plus 30% HRA.      

SRF-Rs. 18,000 consolidated per month plus 30% HRA if leading to Ph.D/NET Qualified otherwise Rs. 14,000/- per month + 30% HRA.                

JRF-Rs.  12,000 per month consolidated per moth plus 30% HRA.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.         The posts exist in sponsored projects and are purely temporary. There shall be no claim for regularisation against any core posts of the Institute.

2                 The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.

3                   No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.

4.                 Number of posts may vary and shall be need based. Advertisement is no commitment.

5.                Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.

6                  No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for.

7.            Name of three references.

Short listed candidates will be required to submit attested copies of all their certificates and a Demand Draft of  Rs. 100/- drawn on Canara Bank or Indian Bank payable at Delhi / New Delhi in favour of the Director, NII (SC/ST and PH candidates are exempted  subject to submission of documentary proof), at the time of interview.

(Please note that the candidates who have appeared for Final year M.Sc and awaiting their results are not eligible. Only those candidates whose results have been declared at the time of submission of application may apply).
