Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the posts of One Senior Research
Fellow (SRF) for ICAR Network Project on “Adaptation and Facilitation of Livestock to impending
climatic changes through shelter management” and One Junior Research Fellow in DST Project
on “Potential of fodder cultivation as a means of carbon capture”.
The appointment is purely on temporary basis and liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof.
The service of the person so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project.
The essential qualifications for the posts are given below:
1. Senior Research Fellow (1 post)
a. Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences (Animal husbandry subjects preferably in Livestock Production and Management)
2. Junior Research Fellow (1 post)
a. Essential Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science
The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test (objective type) followed by interview, work experience, etc. The Candidates are requested to attend the written test and Walk-in interview with all relevant original certificates on 23.08.2011 at 10.00 am at the Department of Livestock Production and Management, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai-600 007. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
The selected candidates will have to execute a bond for Rs.5,000/- per annum before joining duty.
