A walk in test followed by interview (based on test) for the selection of Two Senior Research Fellows under the time bound project will be held at this Institute as per details indicated below:
Name of the Project: “DNA Bar coding to Discriminate Traded Spices From Their Adulterants”.
NAME OF THE POST: Senior Research Fellow

QUALIFICATIONS: a) Essential : First class Master's Degree in Biotechnology/ Genetic Engineering/ Genetics/ Plant Molecular Biology / Biochemistry
b) Desirable: 1. Research experience in Plant Molecular Biology / Bar coding/ Biotechnology
2. UGC - NET qualification/ M. Phil
FELLOWSHIP: RS. 16000/- PM + 20% HRA
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 35 years for men and 40 years for women (Age limits are relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms (at present 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
DURATION OF PROJECT: Two Years
NATURE OF POST: purely on temporary basis and is co-terminus with the project
