Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk in interview on 19th August, 2011 at 10.30 am for the following Contractual positions mentioned below at NCIPM, LBS, Building, IARI Campus, Pusa, New Delhi -110012.
POST: Senior Research Fellow (Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Statistics/ Agriculture Statistics/ Information Technology)(1) NICRA
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS M.Sc. in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Statistics/Agriculture Statistics/ Information Technology
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Thorough knowledge of Ms word, Excel & .ppt data compilation, analysis and presentation skills/ Experience in use of statistical software
POST: Senior Research Fellows(Agrl. Plant pathology/life science disciplines with Plant Pathology) ( 1) NICRA
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. in Plant pathology or M.Sc. in any life sciences with specialisation in Plant Pathology
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Field/ lab work experience in working diseases of crops pulses
POST: Research Associate Statistics/Agricultural Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology(1)Under CROPSAP
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D in Statistics/Agricultural Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology or M.Sc in Statistics/Agricultural Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology with Ist Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA with at least two years experience as evidenced from fellowship/associateship/training
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in use of statistical software and MS-Excel computation/Working knowledge of design and development of database and applications using Microsoft SQL Server , ASP .NET Technologies
POST: Research Associate (Entomology) Entomology/Agril. Entomology/Zoology/Plant Protection Under NAIP
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D in Entomology/Agril. Entomology/Zoology/Plant Protection Or M. Sc. In Entomology/Agril. Entomology/Zoology/Plant Protection with Ist Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA with at least two years experience as evidenced from
fellowship/ associateship/ training.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Published research papers and working knowledge of computer
EMOLUMENTS:
Research Associate with Ph.D : Rs. 24000/month + HRA as admissible
Research Associate with M.Sc. : Rs. 23000/month + HRA as admissible
Senior Research Fellow : Rs. 16000/month + HRA as admissible for 1st
and 2nd year and Rs. 18000/month+ HRA as admissible for 3rd year
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Maximum age limit for Senior Research Fellow is 35 years for men and 40 years for women
2. Maximum age limit for Research associate is 40 years for men and 45 years for women
3. The age is relaxable for five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates for both RAs &
SRFs.
4. The above positions will be filled up on contractual basis and are co terminus with the project or
up to 31.03.2012 whichever is earlier and the selected candidate(s) shall have no claim for regular
appointment(s) at NCIPM / ICAR
5. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
6. Candidates appearing for interview should bring Original Certificates of age proof, educational qualifications (from 10th class onwards), and documents in support of additional qualifications / experience along with a set of attested Xerox copies along with the required Bio-data in the format given below (affix passport sized photograph).
7. Candidate fulfilling the essential qualifications only need to attend the Walk in Interview.
