Recruitment for various positions at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC)

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC)
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) has launched a major initiative to develop computational methods in both biological and cancer research. The new Computational Biology Center (cBio) at MSKCC is recruiting an interdisciplinary team of specialists with experience in fields such as:
Computer Science
Engineering
Mathematics
Natural Sciences
Biotechnology
Medicine
cBio will integrate computational methods, genome information and high-throughput molecular profiling to advance biological research and to discover the organizational principles of complex biological systems. This includes the development of computational simulations of biological processes at different levels of organization and the application of functional genomics and computational biology to help improve cancer diagnostics, prognostics and therapy. cBio Research Groups, headed by new faculty, will bridge basic and clinical research and collaborate in a tri-institutional research program with Rockefeller University and Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
