Applications are invited in prescribed proforma for filling up various posts as detailed here under on Deputation/Transfer/Direct recruitment basis. 1. DIRECTOR, AGRICULTURE EXPERIMENT STATION (DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH)
PAY SCALE: Rs. 37400-67000 AGP 10,000 (This post is tenurial for five years and can be extended for another tenure.)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
i) Atleast Second Class Master Degree in any branch of Agriculture.
ii) A Doctorate Degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Agricultural Technology.
iii) Ability to plan, organise, guide and execute research activities.
iv) 10 years experience of teaching /research.
DESIRABLE:
i) Evidence of published work in scientific journals of repute.
ii) Ability of leadership.
iii) Rural outlook.
2. DIRECTOR OF EXTENSION
PAY SCALE Rs. 37400-67000 AGP 10,000 (This post is tenurial for five years and can be extended for another tenure.)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

iii) Administrative experience in a responsible position for a considerable period.
iv) A Doctorate degree in any branch of Agriculture.

ii) Evidence of published work in scientific journals of repute.
iii) Ability of leadership.
3. PROGRAMME COORDINATOR-(KVKS): PAY SCALE 15600-39100+ AGP 8000 (11 POSTS)UR-3, OBC-4, SC-4
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Science/ Fisheries including relevant basic science with 4 years experience as Scientist /Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-13,500 having made contribution to research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations.
OR
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Sciences/ Fisheries including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience of high quality post-doctoral research in an institution of repute evidenced by publication in high impact/renowned journals.
DESIRABLE: Specialization in implementing extension education programmes.
4. SUBJECT MATTER SPECIALIST(SMS): PAY SCALE 15600-39100+AGP 5400) (26 POSTS)
The grade pay of Rs. 6000 is under consideration.

PAY SCALE 9300-34800 + AGP 4200
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with working Knowledge of computers.
Abbreviation: UR-Unreserved, OBC-Other Backward Classes, SC-Scheduled Caste, ST-Scheduled Tribe, Res.PH-Reserved for Physically Handicapped. KVK- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, ICAR, Indian Council of Agriculture Research.
(The age, experience & qualifications etc. of posts at Sl. No. 1 & 2 are as per University Norms. The posts at Sl. No. 3 to 10 are as per KVKs-ICAR. The age, experience & qualifications etc. are as per ICAR Norms)
The University reserves right to increase and decrease or cancel the number of post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Application received after the last date or incomplete application are liable to be rejected. University will not be responsible for any postal delay. The DLC working in this University may send their application for class III and Driver post as per their qualification without enclosing DD. They will be given preference in selection in compliance of the orders of the Hon’ble High Court. They should write “DLC” on their envelope.
