JOB DESCRIPTION
The acquisition and management of collaborative national and international research projects coordinated by Professor Marino Zerial. Current networks receive funding from the European Commission and the BMBF. The project manager will be responsible for the coordination of application processes, reporting, the organization and execution of network activities and events, and the management of financial and legal aspects. Further tasks include dissemination of research results, public relations, and interaction with participating partner institutions as well as authorities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator and Coordinator of the networks (Prof. Zerial) and the Office of Research Grants.
REQUIREMENTS
The preferred candidate holds a PhD degree in natural sciences and has proven skills in scientific writing and coordination tasks. Previous national and/or international experience in research management and funding is an asset. Excellent communication skills in English and German are required as well as high proficiency in computer applications (MS office, internet, databases, content management systems). The ideal candidate acts proactively and enjoys working in an international and highly interactive environment.
OFFER
The position is available immediately and the initial contract is for 2 years. Compensation is according to the TVöD (public service) scale.
