Applications are invited for the following positions on Adhoc (Temporary) Faculty basis as per the categories and specializations given below.

Positions:
1. LECTURER (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR)
SPECIALIZATION: Nursing- (3)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: M.Sc in Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a consistently good academic record. A minimum of 3 years experience in PG teaching is essential. Candidates with clinical experience preferred.
SPECIALIZATION: Obstetric and Gynecology Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health and Community Nursing,
2. LECTURER (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR):
SPECIALIZATION: Optometry & Vision Science-(3)
QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. in Optometry with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a consistently good academic record. A minimum of 3 years experience in teaching and clinical experience is essential.
SPECIALIZATION: Clinical Optometry - Foundation Optometry, Visual Optics, Optometric Optic, Principles of lighting, Physical & Geometric Optics, , Contact lens, Binocular Vision, Ocular Diseases, Pediatric and Geriatric Ophthalmology
3. LECTURER (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR):
SPECIALIZATION: Physiology-(1)
QUALIFICATIONS: M.D. or M.Sc. (Medical) in Physiology with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a consistently good academic record.
A minimum of 3 years experience in teaching is essential.
4. LECTURER (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR):
SPECIALIZATION: Anatomy-(1)
QUALIFICATIONS: MD or M.Sc. (Medical) in Anatomy with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a consistently good academic record.
A minimum of 3 years experience in teaching is essential
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT:
1. Tenure: The appointments are purely temporary and will be for a period not exceeding Six months. The appointments are renewable based on the requirement of the School and based on re-interview after the completion of the tenure of appointment. The reservation of the posts are as per Government of India rules,as assigned by the University roster system.
2. Emoluments: The scale of a pay will be Rs.15,600 (basic) + all other allowances as applicable as per the VI pay commission pay scales of UGC.
Additional increments will be considered for candidates having M.Phil/ Ph.D. as per rules. Medical degree holders will be considered for Non-practicing allowance (NPA) if applicable as per rules.
3. Application: The application along with a copy of curriculum vitae with details of academic qualifications, work experience and copies of certificates in support of qualification and experience should be sent on or before 9th January 2012 to the address given below. Application sent via email as an advance copy should be followed with a hard copy by Speed Post/ Courier without fail.
4. Certificates: Those applicants to be considered for the reserved positions (under OBC/SC/ST categories) should necessarily enclose copy of the “Caste Certificate” in proper format issued by the Competent Authority.
The eligible candidates will be called for an interview at University of Hyderabad.
The candidates have to attend the interview at their own cost. The selected candidates are expected to join with in a week from the date of offer.
