The candidates are invited at the Walk-In-Interview to be held at the campus of Directorate of Sorghum Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad – 500 030 for recruitment of project staff under various projects mentioned below, as per the scheduled dates given against each project.

Technical Helper (One position) in DBT project Project ends in May 2013	Genetic transformation and molecular analysis of Indian Sweet Sorghum genotypes with Bt gene constructs	Essential: M. Sc. In Botany / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Plant sciences / Life science or equivalent. Desirable qualifications: Knowledge in computers, DNA extraction, PCR and Protein gels. SRF (One position) in INSIMP project Project ends in March, 2013	Nutritional Security through Intensive Millets Promotion (INSIMP)	Essential: M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences (preferably Agronomy / Economics / Extension) or MA (Economics) or M. Phil in Economics or MBA or equivalent qualification with strong aptitude for agricultural issues (previous experience). Desirable qualifications: Knowledge of cultivation of field crops / cereals, extension services, working knowledge in computer skills especially in MS office, able to analyze statistical data using SPSS or SAS etc and strong demonstrated documentation skills. SRF (One position) in INSIMP project Project ends in March, 2013	Nutritional Security through Intensive Millets Promotion (INSIMP)	Essential: M.Sc. (Food Science / Technology) or M. Sc. (Clinical Nutrition) or M. Tech in Food Engineering with strong aptitude for food processing issues in cereals. Desirable qualifications: Knowledge on Food processing and Food technology / cultivation of field crops / cereals extension services, working knowledge in computer skills especially in MS office, able to analyze statistical data using SPSS or SAS etc and strong demonstrated documentation skills.	Rs. 16000 + 30% HRA	5th July, 2012 Time: 9:00 AM

The above posts are purely temporary and on contractual basis for the period of the project. The candidates shall submit the application at the time of interview in the proforma enclosed along with a passport size photograph, attested copies of requisite mark-sheets, certificates and supporting documents. They have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verification. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview. Decision of the Director, DSR is final and binding in all respects.

(1) The age limit for above positions is up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
