Applications are invited for appointment to the following temporary posts of the Research Project entitled “Development of Saltol / Sub1 mega rice varieties for flood prone salt affected areas and standardization of production technology”. The project is sanctioned for a period up to 31/03/2015.  Candidates with the prescribed qualification/ experience in relevant fields  are requested to apply.

NAME OF POSITION: Research Associate

NUMBER OF POSTS: 1

REMUNERATION   (RS/- P.M): 20,000/-

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE: Ph.D (Biotech ) or M.Sc (Biotech) with experience in Marker Assisted Breeding  in rice for a minimum period of  3 years.

2.  NAME OF POSITION: Senior Research Fellows

 NUMBER OF POSTS: 4

 REMUNERATION   (RS/- P.M): 18,000/-

 QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:  M.Sc (Ag) in Plant Biotech / M.Sc (Biotechnology) - 3 posts

M.Sc(Ag) in Pl.Path - 1 post / Experience in MAS / Molecular work is desirable

3. NAME OF POSITION: Research Assistants

NUMBER OF POSTS: 4

REMUNERATION   (RS/- P.M): 10,000/-

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE: M.Sc (Ag) in Plant Biotech / M.Sc (Biotechnology)
