WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT & LABORATORY ASSISTANT (ONE EACH) UNDER DBT-ATL PROJECT ARI/SP/170

 2. FUNDING AGENCY, TITLE OF THE PROJECT & POST CODE:  DBT-ATL Project (SP/170) ‘Accredited Test Laboratory under NCS-TCP’    [Post Code: TA/SP/170 & LA/SP/170]

 3. PROJECT NO. & PERIOD:  (SP-170), Period up to 28.02.2013 which may be curtailed or extended depending upon status of the Project)

 4. GROUP/ DIVISION:  Genetics Group of Plant Sciences Division.

 5. QUALIFICATIONS:

 TECHNICAL ASSISTANT: ESSENTIAL: (i) 1st class M.Sc. in Botany/ Plant Bio-technology/ Agricultural Biotechnology. DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Molecular markers and Plant Tissue Culture. 

 LABORATORY ASSISTANT: ESSENTIAL: 1st class B.Sc. with Botany/ Biotechnology as special subject.

 6. MONTHLY STIPEND (FIXED):  Tech.Asst.-Rs.8000/- & Lab Asst.-Rs.5000/-, consolidated. 

 7. AGE LIMIT:  28 years (5/3 yrs. relaxation for SC&ST/OBC candidates).

 8. LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF PRESCRIBED APPLICATION:  16.05.2012 up to 17.00 hrs.

 9. LIST OF SHORT LISTED CANDIDATES ON WEBSITE:  Will be displayed on Institute website by 22.05.2012 and/ or, candidates will be informed through e-mail.

  10.DATE & TIME OF WALK-IN-INT.:  25.05.2012 at 10.30 a.m.,

 NOTE: No T.A. is admissible for attending interview and selected candidate will have no right of appointment against any ARI/DBT POST.

 Candidates fulfilling above conditions may apply in the prescribed format available on the Institute’s website http://www.aripune.org., along with attested copies of qualifications, certificates, Passport size photograph, caste certificate issued by competent authority (for reserved category) and application fee of Rs.50/-, payable by Demand Draft only  in favor of Agharkar Research Institute, Pune, up to 16.05.2012.  The prescribed essential qualifications are bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidate to be called for interview.  In case number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible for the Institute to interview all the candidates.  The Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.  Applicants are requested to refer the General Conditions available on Institute’s website, before applying.
