WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR TEMPORARY RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP IN BOTANY GROUP UNDER PROJECT ARI/SP/209

 2. FUNDING AGENCY, TITLE OF THE PROJECT & POST CODE :  Forest Department, Govt. of Maharashtra, `Inventorization of the Flora and Fauna from Selected Sacred Groves of Pune District.’                                                [RS-BOT/SP-209]
 3. PROJECT NO. & PERIOD:  (SP-209), Period up to 31.03.2013 which may be curtailed or extended depending upon status of the Project)
4. GROUP/ DIVISION: Botany Group of Plant Sciences Division.
 5. QUALIFICATIONS:  Essential: 1st class M.Sc. in Botany/ Biodiversity/ Environmental Sciences. Desirable: Experience in field work and data analysis.
 6. MONTHLY STIPEND (FIXED):  Rs.11000/- (fixed) consolidated. 
 7. AGE LIMIT:  28 years (5/3 yrs. relaxation for SC&ST/OBC candidates).
 8. LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF PRESCRIBED APPLICATION:  22.05.2012 up to 17.00 hrs.
 9. LIST OF SHORT LISTED CANDIDATES ON WEBSITE:  Will be displayed on Institute website by 24.05.2012 and/ or, candidates will be informed through e-mail.

 Note: No T.A. is admissible for attending interview and selected candidate will have no right of appointment against any ARI or Govt. of Maharashtra post.
 Candidates fulfilling above conditions may apply in the prescribed format available on the Institute’s website http://www.aripune.org., along with attested copies of qualifications, certificates, Passport size photograph, caste certificate issued by competent authority (for reserved category) and application fee of Rs.50/-, payable by Demand Draft only  in favor of Agharkar Research Institute, Pune, up to 22.05.2012.  The prescribed essential qualifications are bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidate to be called for interview.  In case number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible for the Institute to interview all the candidates.  The Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.  Applicants are requested to refer the General Conditions available on Institute’s website, before applying.
