Job description / Job Profile- Work related to the publication of Indian Journal of Natural Products and Resources(Quarterly) and Natural Products and Resources Repository (Quarterly) (Online). The candidate will be required to perform following major activities:
1. Maintenance of records/ status of research papers received for publication.
2. Regular correspondence with Authors and Referees.
3. Editing/ comparison in the pre-revised and revised papers.
4. Making soft and hard copies ready for press.
5. Collection and collation of information on Natural Products and Resources for publication in repository.

Job description / Job Profile- Editorial, office management, maintaining and updating records. Selection of experts for Peer evaluation, indexing and abstracting, working knowledge of computer application.

Essential Qualification- First Class B. Tech / M.Sc. OR equivalent GPA in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics
Desirable Qualification- Prior art search, patent informatics, computer- aided drug design (CADD) spanning almost all stages in the drug discovery pipeline, from target identification to lead discovery and lead optimization, etc.
Job description / Job Profile- The candidate will have work on patent/ bioinformatics database, prior art search, patent informatics, development of value added database and computer-aided drug design (CADD), etc. The candidate will also work ongoing divisional research activities.
Stipend: Rs.15000/- per month consolidated. No other allowance is admissible.
Tenure: Maximum period of 02 yrs not extendable under any circumstances and subject to satisfactory performance to be evaluated every 06 months. The interns shall have no claim for further extension, absorption or regularization in CSIR after the expiry / termination of the internship.

The candidates short-listed for interview by the screening Committee will be informed on their e-mail / postal addresses about the date, time and venue of the interview. Selection of candidates for the Research Intern Awards would be based on their overall performance in interview. The process may include a written test in case receipt of large numbers of applications. Candidates are advised to visit NISCAIR website to know the result, date of interview and any other relevant notification.
