PROF. M.J. NARASIMHAN MERIT ACADEMIC AWARD: The preliminary selection for the award will be done during the zonal chapter’s meeting organized by CSAUA&T, Kanpur. The age limit for the contestant would be 35 years. Finally selected two names among the contestant will be recommended by zonal president for final contest during Annual meeting of IPS beling held at Hyderabad from 2-4 December, 2011. The selected candidate from the zonal chapter meeting will have to provide an abstract upto 200 words along with brief bio-data to the Secretary IPS through Zonal President.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME:

Scientific programme will include Lead paper, Oral and Poster presentation.

VENUE:

The Mid – Eastern Zonal Symposium will be held at Department of Plant Pathology, CSAU&T, Kanpur, about 8.5 km away from Kanpur Central Railway Station.

ABSTRACT:

Abstract should not exceed 250 words.

THEMES: Scientific and technical sessions will have focused on following areas :-

1. Integrated insect pests and diseases management

2. Integrated water and nutrient management

3. Sustainable and eco-friendly disease management

4. Organic crop production

PUBLICATION OF PROCEEDING:

The proceeding of all invited papers, lead lectures as well as the “Extended Summary” of oral/Poster presentation will be published.

The lead and invite lectures, abstract should be typed in the Time New Roman Font 12 Point with single spacing in MSfile in the format of IPS full paper publication. The poster and oral presentation has to be presented in the international and national trend and the best three posters will be awarded.Two hard copies along with CD and registration form to be sent to Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Organizing Secretary, IPS, Deptt. of Plant Pathology, C.
