It is proposed to fill-up following position as per details below purely on temporary basis under

the time bound Project running in this Institute.

1. NAME OF PROJECT: “Identification and Quantification of Phosphatase Hydrolysable Organic P Sources for Plant Nutrition and Refinement of a Non-destructive Technique for Phosphatase Estimation”.

NAME OF POST: Research Associate (RA)

NO. OF POST: 1 (One)

PLACE OF POSTING: CAZRI, Jodhpur

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 23,000/- + 20% HRA (for M.Sc.)

Rs. 24,000/- + 20% HRA (for Ph.D.)

QUALIFICATION:  M.Sc./Ph.D. degrees in Soil Science/Chemistry/Soil Microbiology with knowledge in computer data processing and presentation.

DURATION AND OTHER CONDITIONS:  Upto 21 March 2014. (purely temporary)

AGE LIMIT:  40 years for men and 45 years for women on the date of walk-in interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per rules).

2. NAME OF PROJECT “Nano-technology for Enhanced Utilization of Native -Phosphorus by Plants and Higher Moisture Retention in Arid Soils”.

NAME OF POST: Research Associate (RA)

PLACE OF POSTING: CAZRI, Jodhpur

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 23,000/- + 20% HRA (for M.Sc.)

Rs. 24,000/- + 20% HRA (for Ph.D.)

QUALIFICATION: M.Sc./Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry/Soil Science/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Nanotechology with knowledge in computer data processing and presentation.

DURATION AND OTHER CONDITIONS:  Upto 31 March 2012. (purely temporary)

NAME OF POST: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

NO. OF POST: 1 (One)

PLACE OF POSTING: CAZRI, Jodhpur

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 16,000/- + 20% HRA (for Ist & IInd year)

Rs. 18,000/- + 20% HRA (for IIIrd year onwards)

QUALIFICATION: M.Sc. in Plant Physiology/Botany with specialization in Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry.

DURATION AND OTHER CONDITIONS: Upto 31 March 2012. (purely temporary)

AGE LIMIT: 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of walk-in interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per rules).

The candidates fulfilling the qualification for the above position are invited to appear for a walk-in-interview on 21.10.2011 at 10.30 A.M. to be held at the office of National Fellow, Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Light Industrial Area, Jodhpur – 342 003 (Raj.). The candidate should bring the following documents alongwith bio-data on plain paper duly signed and pasted with a recent colour passport size photograph on it.

(i)Original certificate of educational qualifications and attested copies (ii) Two testimonials of Character from two responsible gazetted officers (iii) relevant publication (iv) a brief of research work during post graduations (v) No objection certificate from the employer in case of employment elsewhere (vi)  Experience certificate in original, if any.

The above positions are purely temporary and are co-terminus with the project. The service of the selected candidates will stand terminated automatically after the expiry of the project or completion of period mentioned in the offer of appointment and on the decision of the competent authority, whichever is earlier. He/she will not have any right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in regular vacancies of the Institute/ICAR. TA/DA will not be admissible for attending the interview.
