Ph.D admissions at CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur

CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur is a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. CSIR-IHBT conducts R&D on development of economic bioresources leading to value added plants, products and processes for industrial, environmental and societal benefits.
Applications are invited from candidates having Masters Degree in Science and a valid National Level Fellowship NET-JRF/SRF of various funding agencies (UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR/BINC/INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships) for Ph.D.  programme at CSIR-IHBT:
 (i). Biological Sciences- Agriculture Sciences/Agronomy/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Botany/Entomology/Forestry and Environmental Sciences/Floriculture/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Microbiology/Nanotechnology/Plant Pathology/Plant Physiology/Remote Sensing; and
(ii). Chemical Sciences-
Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Projects Assistants already working at CSIR-IHBT for a minimum of one year are eligible to apply. They are required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and recommendation of the proposed Guide (with whom the candidate is undergoing project work and desires to undertake the thesis work) directly to Dr. Arvind Gulati AcSIR Coordinator,
