Interested candidates are
requested to appear in a walk-in interview on 28th August, 2012 at 04.00 P.M.
in the room of the Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Calcutta University,
35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-700019 to work as a Research Associate
(RA)-I in the project entitled “Biochemical Study of The Relationship
Between Phosphatidylinositol Signaling In Root Cells of Leguminous Plants With
or Without Rhizobial Infection” funded by DST under the guidance of Dr.
Anirban Siddhanta of Dept of Biochemistry. Tenure of the project is initially
for one year but extendable for up to 3 years (maximum) subjected to
satisfactory performance.
Qualification
required:
Doctorate (PhD/MD/MS/MDS) or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research,
teaching, and design and development experience after MVSc/MPharm/ME/MTech will
be eligible for award as RA.
Fellowship will be Rs. 22,000/- +
admissible allowances per month as per the sanction of the funding agency and
also as per norms of this University.
Candidates are requested to bring
two sets of complete applications furnishing Bio-data on plain paper attached
with attested copies of testimonials and all the Originals of the testimonials
at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
