Advertisement for the post of a Project Fellow in a UGC-Funded Major Research Project
Applications are invited for the post of a Project Fellow to be appointed in a UGCFunded Major Research Project entitled “Effects of high environmental ammonia on the expression of glutamine synthetase genes, mitogenactivated protein kinases and Hsp70 in the air-breathing mud eel,
Monopterus cuchia” sanctioned to Prof. N. Saha, Biochemical Adaptation Lab., Department of Zoology, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong 793022 for a period of three years. Candidates are requested to send their bio-data with details of their educational qualifications etc. in a plain paper with their full
address, telephone number and e-mail address to the undersigned within 20 days from the date of advertisement.
Qualification:
M.Sc. in Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with a good knowledge in the field of  Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Animal Physiology.
Fellowship amount:
Rs. 14,000/- per month for the the 1st two years and Rs. 16,000/- per month for the 3rd year.
