Applications are invited for the Post of SRF under CSIR funded project (No. 38(1327)/12/EMR-II)

TITLE OF THE PROJECT: Production of Phytoene by inhibition of Phytoene Desaturase Gene (PDS) in Dunaliella sp.

QUALIFICATION : M.Sc (Life Sciences) with two years experience or M.Tech (Biotechnology) with one year experience, knowledge on Molecular Biology techniques is mandatory. NET / GATE qualified candidates are preferred.

NUMBER OF POSITION : One

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR : Dr. K M Gothandam, SBST, VIT University, Vellore-632014, Tamil Nadu.

CO PI : Dr. S. Babu, SBST, VIT University, Vellore-632014, Tamil Nadu.

DURATION:  3 Years

FELLOWSHIP: Rs 14,000 per month + HRA
